I am Almaz Alemayehu Wassie, a Lecturer at Debre Markos University. I hold a Master of Arts degree in Social Anthropology and academically, I am interested in culture, social change, indigenous knowledge systems, community development, and qualitative research.
As part of my academic responsibilities, I participate in community engagement initiatives that promote knowledge sharing with collaboration between the university and loca community. My involvement aims to strengthen the role of higher education in addressing societal challenges and supporting community development through deeper understanding of social issues and contribute to sustainable development as well.
